Tackling Period Poverty
We acknowledge the monthly realities of women and commit to being allies in the fight for menstrual equity, ensuring that periods never stand in the way of a woman's potential. Understanding the critical importance of menstrual health, PopoMama backs initiatives aimed at combating period poverty and period stigma. Through our contributions and advocacy, we are working to ensure that menstrual health is a right, not a privilege. We support initiatives promoting period health awareness. We also support initiatives to provide sanitary products to those in need, ensuring dignity and health for women regardless of their economic situation.
Covid-19 Relief Efforts
In times of crisis, PopoMama stands as a pillar of hope and support. During the Covid-19 pandemic, we have set up food banks and soup kitchen to aid those affected by disasters. Through collaborative efforts of our employees and volunteers, we have distributed over 10,000 meals to the poor and the underprivileged. Our commitment to relief efforts demonstrates our deep-rooted belief Our rapid response to emergency situations reflects our unwavering commitment to in community support and compassionate action.
Supporting the PenanTribe
Our dedication to empowerment reaches to the heart of the Penan tribes through the Helping Hands of Penan, an organization devoted to uplifting the Penan communities. By recognizing the unique challenges faced by these communities, we endeavor to provide support that respects their cultural heritage and fosters self-sufficiency. We proudly use their beautifully handcrafted weaved baskets for our food deliveries during the earlier days and as cherished gifts for our customers, fostering income streams for the tribe. Our efforts help to ensure that these indigenous women and their families can build a brighter, more secure future.
